The Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs has begun examining the draft Directive and Regulation that will revise the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID).  

AMAFI is continuing its work on the revision of the Market Abuse Directive, cooperating closely with the French authorities to achieve three objectives: 

The European Parliament adopted on 15 November 2011 the Regulation titled Short selling and certain aspects of Credit Default Swaps.

AMAFI, in collaboration with the Treasury, is paying close attention to ongoing work on the review of the Transparency Directive.
