{"id":18643,"date":"2020-11-27T01:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-11-27T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amafi.dev39.fr\/iosco-annual-meeting-and-icsa-meetings-9-18-november-2020\/"},"modified":"2020-11-27T01:00:00","modified_gmt":"2020-11-27T00:00:00","slug":"iosco-annual-meeting-and-icsa-meetings-9-18-november-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.amafi.fr\/en\/iosco-annual-meeting-and-icsa-meetings-9-18-november-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"IOSCO Annual Meeting and ICSA meetings, 9-18 November 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The annual general meeting of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) was replaced by a series of virtual meetings because of the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>The International Council of Securities Associations (ICSA) and ICI Global, an international association representing investment funds, organised a number of virtual bilateral meetings between the finance industry and international and European regulators.<\/p>\n<p>Key regulatory topics broached during the meetings included issues relating to the impact of Covid-19 on the functioning of financial markets and especially the resilience of non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs), in the light of recent Financial Stability Board (FSB) reports. Increased FSB\/IOSCO collaboration was another major topic of discussion, particularly regarding the current work on NBFIs.
