{"id":23013,"date":"2026-09-07T11:35:05","date_gmt":"2026-09-07T09:35:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.amafi.fr\/?p=23013"},"modified":"2026-09-07T11:39:42","modified_gmt":"2026-09-07T09:39:42","slug":"sponsored-research-the-new-european-framework-endorses-the-model-championed-by-the-paris-financial-center","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.amafi.fr\/en\/sponsored-research-the-new-european-framework-endorses-the-model-championed-by-the-paris-financial-center\/","title":{"rendered":"Sponsored research: The new European framework endorses the model championed by the Paris financial center"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Effective <strong>September 7, 2026<\/strong>, a new European code of conduct will govern research funded, in whole or in part, by issuing companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This development marks an important milestone: the European framework is based on the <strong>French Charter of Best Practices for Sponsored Research<\/strong>, established in 2022 by AMAFI, AFG, and SFAF to ensure <strong>the quality, objectivity, independence, and transparency<\/strong> of analyses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With <strong>nearly 340 contracts in effect as of the end of 2025<\/strong>, this French initiative has proven effective in enhancing the visibility of publicly traded companies among investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The involvement of the Paris business community in the work on the <strong>Listing Act<\/strong> helped expand this model to the European Union level.
